Craftbookdrive.org is the online affiliate of arts and crafts library of Tobucil, Bandung, Indonesia. It began as a concern over the lack of affordable quality craft books for public consumption, unequal to the growing community of craft hobbyists who need good references. The list is still short, but definitely growing. (read the story behind this library here) |

The second batch of books is waiting to be shipped to Bandung. Thirty seven craft books, magazines, and leaflets from a couple of New England donors and my own huntings. I also heard from Tarlen there were some books donated directly to Tobucil from Pancasakti family (Papua, Indonesia). Thank you!

Rakotakotak, that's how Tobucilers call them. Rak is Indonesian for shelf, kotak means box. So I think I can safely say the English version of 'Rakotakotak' is 'The Boxhelves'.They are a bunch of independent, portable, and stackable boxes which can be used for many purposes. During Crafty Days 2 : Recycle Attack, the Boxhelves were used to display craft projects from exhibitors. Now that the event is over, they are permanently serving as the Art and Craft Library's shelves.
